Masseria Potenti
A 16th-century family estate of olive trees, vines and Mediterranean stillness
What makes it
unmistakable
Family-run · warm · slow Mediterranean
A 16th-century family-run masseria on a 30-hectare estate of olive groves and vineyards near the Ionian Sea — welcomed in person by Paolo and Maria Grazia, with their cuisine, hospitality and a deep sense of place.
Masseria Potenti is the kind of place where the door is opened by the family that owns it. Around twenty rooms — from the old shepherd's quarters to private country cottages — sit around lime-washed courtyards, stone interiors and a garden made for long afternoons. The estate hosts up to 250 guests for symbolic ceremonies (under the olive trees, in the courtyard, beside the kitchen garden) with farm cuisine drawn straight from what the land produces. For couples crossing the Atlantic from Canada, it offers exactly what a Puglian wedding promises: warmth, slowness, and the unmistakable scent of olive groves at sunset.
