Italian Aperitivo
Prosecco, Aperol spritz, taralli, burrata and imported salumi — the true Italian welcome, styled as a curated bar experience.

We don't work alongside a caterer. We create weddings together. Wedding planning, event design and authentic Italian cuisine — designed as one seamless experience, by two Puglian families who share a single kitchen and a single vision.

We both grew up in Puglia — in small towns close enough that our grandparents cooked the same dishes, argued over the same recipes and shopped at the same markets. Years later, thousands of kilometres away in Vancouver, our paths crossed again.
We started as friends, then as neighbours, then as two studios quietly recommending each other. Slowly it became something else: the same dream of building weddings and private events the way they're built back home — with real food, real people at the table, and nothing rushed.
"So we stopped acting like a planner and a caterer. We built one service together."
What you'll find on this page is not a supplier list. It's a single hospitality studio — planner, chef and kitchen — designing every wedding and private event as one continuous conversation, from the first proposal to the last espresso.

A family-run Italian gastronomia — bakery, deli, imported pantry and full-service events under one roof. Our exclusive culinary partner for every wedding and private celebration we design in British Columbia.

Not a caterer. A full Italian gastronomia — bakery, deli, imported pantry and hospitality — carried into every wedding and private event we design.
Cured meats, cheeses, olive oil, wines and pantry staples brought in directly from Italy — then prepped fresh in the Vancouver kitchen.
Focaccia pulled the same afternoon, stuffed pizze, cannoli, sfogliatelle, zeppole. The kind of counter you'd walk past in Bari on a Sunday morning.
A family-run deli with a strong Italian identity — the sensibility that shapes every menu, tasting and welcome table we build together.

Most weddings are built by assembling suppliers. Ours is built by two studios who already share the kitchen, the calendar and the phone line.

Italian Hospitality Studio
One integrated team

Every menu we serve is designed and cooked by Chef Delbert of Gastronomia Italia. He grew up in the same corner of Puglia we did — with a family that fed people constantly, for every reason and no reason at all.
His cooking is honest: hand-shaped orecchiette, slow-braised meats, seasonal vegetables treated with respect, focaccia pulled from the oven the same afternoon. Nothing is over-styled, nothing is over-plated. The point is always the guest at the table.
When we build a proposal, Chef Delbert is in the conversation from the beginning — never called in at the end. That's what makes the difference between catering and a culinary experience.
"Cook the way your family cooks — and then set the table with intention."
Every wedding is designed as a sequence of moments — each one written by planner and chef together, then styled, cooked and served by the same team.

Prosecco, Aperol spritz, taralli, burrata and imported salumi — the true Italian welcome, styled as a curated bar experience.

Imperial tables, hand-passed platters, sommelier-led wines. The night everyone remembers — served the way Italians actually eat.

Five courses paced with intention, from cured antipasti to house-made pasta and slow-cooked mains. Formal, warm, unhurried.

Fresh mozzarella pulled tableside, pasta finished in front of guests, wood-oven focaccia. Buffet without any of the buffet clichés.

Imported cured meats — prosciutto, mortadella, finocchiona — paired with aged cheeses and local honey. The Italian table, distilled.

Panzerotti fritti, polenta bites, focaccia and espresso with amaro — the second wind of any real Italian celebration.

Slow-cooked porcini and cremini on grilled sourdough, finished with edible flowers and microgreens. A signature Chef Delbert bite.

Cannoli, sfogliatelle, zeppole, torta della nonna and a custom monogrammed tiramisu with your initials. A dessert moment from the Gastronomia Italia pastry counter.
Planner and chef, in the same room, with you. No handoffs, no telephone game. You tell us the story of the evening; we listen and take notes together.
Chef Delbert designs a menu around the occasion, the venue, the guests, dietary needs and the season. Italian at its core, always adapted to who's actually eating.
You taste with both of us in the room. We refine wines, portions, pace and styling until the evening feels right on paper and on the plate.
Planning, styling and kitchen work as one team. Guests only ever see one hospitality — warm, unhurried and confidently Italian.
Between our first call and your wedding day, planner and chef sit together dozens of times — writing menus, choosing wines, designing tables, briefing service. It's the reason the night itself feels calm.
